In 2006 over 18.000 Dacia Logan were sold in France, where it got to a market share of 1%, in a market where 2 million cars were sold in 2006. This happened while Renault sold 10% less cars then in the previous year.
In 2006, 18.742 Dacia Logan were registered, 92% more then the 9.758 from 2005. France is the biggest western market for the Dacia Logan, buying about 45% of the cars sold in Western Europe by Dacia. Dacia Logan had 0.9% of the french market last year, according to CCFA, cited by the website autoactu.com.
Renault wanted to sell 88.000 Dacia Logan in 2006 and in the first 10 months managed to sell 73.685, including the 10.000 Dacia Logan made in Maroc.
