Renault Dacia has just officialy announced the new Dacia Logan version, with a 1,6l engine, 16v and 107 horse power. Right now, the Dacia Logan has three engines, 1.4 l MPI (75 HP), 1.6 l MPI (90 HP) and 1.5 l dCi (65 HP).
In the first year of 2006, the Dacia Logan has registered an increase in exports of 28%, with a total of 103,604 units beeing made, out of which 96,000 in Romania and 7000 Dacia Logan in Maroc.
For export, more then 40,000 Dacia Logan were made, more then double the number made in the previous year in the same period. Half of this production was sold in Western Europe, that took 20,000 Dacia Logan.
The current Dacia Logan production in Romania is 745/day. By the end of 2006 this production will reach 840 Dacia Logan/day. While this year the production of Dacia Logan will probably be around 200,000, for the next years its planned to reach up to 350,000.
