Dacia Logan sedan and MCV will both get a new diesel engine, a 1.5L. This engine has 85hp and 200Nm at 1900rpm. With this new engine, the Dacia Logan will consume 4.6 liters/100km for the sedan, and 5.2liters/100km for the MCV version. CO2 emissions are at 120g/km for the sedan and 137g/km for the MCV.
In Romania, the 1.5dCi with 85HP will be available for the Laureate, Prestige and Ambition versions at the sedan, and for the Preference and Laureate for the MCV. With this new diesel, the total number of engines is 5. This particular engine has a second generation Common Rail system.
As for the speed, nothing special, but you can’t really expect much at 85HP. 0-100km/h takes 13 seconds (2 sec faster then the 70HP variant) for the sedan, while the MCV takes 14.3 seconds.
This new engines is associated with a 5 speed JR5 gearbox.
