Sources from inside the Renault company have said that the success that the Dacia Logan had in Western Europe had made the french think of a new selling strategy for the Dacia Logan. If untill now the Dacia Logan has been “tolerated” in the show-rooms dedicated to other brands, starting from 2007, the Dacia Logan will have its own spaces and showrooms in Europe.
The best thing for Dacia Logan would be if Renault would develop a network of dealers that would sell only the Dacia Logan. Eastern Europe, the initial target for the french when they launched the Dacia Logan, will be the first to feel this new change in strategy.
“The success of the Dacia Logan makes us build a new network of showrooms dedicated only to the Dacia Logan, or to enhance the current showrooms and give Dacia Logan its own dedicated spaces.”, declared the chief of the sales department from Renault. Up untill now, the Dacia Logan has been sold in the showrooms dedicated to Renault models.
Dacia Logan was launched in Western Europe in the fall of 2005. Since the beggining of 2006, the manufacter from Colibasi managed to sell all the Dacia Logan that were produced. Around 30,000 Dacia Logan were sold in Western Europe untill now.
Renault has big plans with the romanian manufacturer, and announced a series of projects that will enhance the Dacia Logan models. Dacia already presented a 4×4 model of the Dacia Logan and is currently working on the Dacia Logan Van.
