In 2008 Dacia sold 257,594 cars, 11.7% more than in 2007. This result came despite the losses suffered by most other car manufacturers due to the financial crisis.
Out of these, 84,708 Dacia Logan and Sandero were sold in Romania, down 17% compared to 2007.
The overall growth in cars sold comes from exports, with 172,886 models sold in other countries. Thatâ€™s an increase of 34.6% compared to 2007. 60% of all models sold outside Romania went to Western Europe.
