Dacia Sells Cars With Automated Gearboxes In Persian Gulf Countries

The Renault Group started selling Dacia Logan and Sandero cars with an automated transmission in countries from the Persian Gulf area, both under the Renault and the Dacia badges. Equipped with a 5 gear automated transmission, these models will be kept only for countries where such a demand exists.

For Romania a decision hasn’t been made yet, since the demand for this type of model is very small. In the Gulf however, over 80% of the sold cars come with an automated gearbox.

This transmission will be available for cars that have the 1.6L with 90HP petrol engine.

It also seems that a Sandero model powered by GPL will be launched in Italy.

I hope the models in Belgium will also be fitted with an automated gearbox; it’s been more than 1 year I’ve been asking to my Renault dealer to have one but apparently it is not possible to get one
