The project name for the future Dacia SUV is H79 and it’s been 7 months since it’s in development. The tests of the car will begin in a few months at the test site from Arges, Romania. These tests will check the technical parameters and behavior of the model.
The tests for Dacia Logan were done in the same test site in 2004. The Dacia SUV, derived from the Steppe concept might borrow some details from the Nissan X-Trail model, including the engines. Among the engines that could equip the Dacia SUV is a 75HP and a 115HP engine. The model, which will come in both 2×4 and 4×4 variants, will have a starting price of 12.000 Euro.
The Duster concept that was presented this year at the Geneva Auto Show was designed mainly to get the customer used with the idea of a Dacia SUV.
