Dacia is planning to launch a Multi-Purpose Vehicle, SUV and a Sedan in next two years. The company currently has five models in the market and with the addition of these 3 models the total number of models will increase to 8. The SUV is the first model that is likely to be launched. The company plans to launch the model either in the spring of 2010 or as early as fall of this year in Geneva or Frankfurt. The MPV and the Sedan are not likely to be launched in the year 2010.
The company’s MPV is a compact model and the car is likely to be the same size as the Kia Soul. Dacia sedan will be much bigger that the Dacia Logan and is likely to face competition from models like Passat, Accord, Insignia and Mondeo.
Most features of the existing models are likely to be retained in the new models that the company is planning to launch. The price of the new generation models of Logan are likely to be competitively priced because of the low production cost. So wait for Logan to launch new models to get the best deals on the vehicle you plan to buy.
