New MCV to be launched
Dacia is planning to showcase a new concept car which is in lines with the Logan MCV model in Dusseldorf. Nicknamed as the Logan MCV Young Activity Van III the car will be an extension of its Logan MCV II. The company is promising to bring about changes in the design and the interiors of the car to attract new customers. Sources tell me that the MCV is likely to enough space to enable two adults to sleep comfortably in the Car.
One unique feature about the Logan MCV Young Activity Van III that you will love is the retractable roof. Once you open the retractable roof you get access to the activity van of the car. The activity van has a tent in which two people can sleep comfortably. The height of the Logan MCV Young Activity Van III is expected to be lower when compared to previous MCV’s.
Just as in case of Duster, the company plans to create the production version of the new Logan MCV Young Activity Van III at the starting price of approximately 15,900 Euros. The prices of the Logan MCV Young Activity Van III could however increase depending on the final product.
Dacia to stop production of Cars
Yes you heard it right “Dacia will stop the production of Cars”, but only for 28 days. The company is going through a technical overhaul and will stop production of cars for from 3rd of August to the 30th of August. The entire production team of 14,000 people will go on a vacation for these 28 days. The only departments that will be working will be the sales, repairs and the maintenance department. According to company officials this is an annual exercise carried out by the company. During this period the company inspects the machines and carries out the required repairs. The company is not likely to face any supply shortage as the company has sufficient number of vehicles to meet the domestic and the export demand. All the 14,000 factory workers will be paid salaries even though they are not working during this period. Apart from salaries employees will also receive vacation bonus to meet their vacation expenses.
