ZF reports that representatives of Renault, have started recruiting people for the Dacia Logan plant in Romania. After firing 11,000 of them when they took over Dacia, they will hire 600 people by the end of 2008, to supplement the personnel involved in building the Dacia Logan. Most of them will be hired for plant activity, but some are hired to supplement the personnel at Dacia Logan support centers from Romania.
The Dacia Logan target for 2008 is 350,000 units by the end of the year, with a 2 billion turnover in 2007.
More hiring will be made probably for Renault Technologie Roumanie, the engineering center that Renault is building in Romania, with around 3000 engineers to be employed there.
